New Orleans Hornets have not had much happy with this summer. Arriving in action on Saturday the Hornets had lost all four previous games in the summer league game, including a
NBA Caps heartbreaker Friday night to John Wall led the Washington Wizards the final horn.
Unfortunately, it would be more of the same Saturday afternoon as the Hornets lost their final summer season from 101 to 93 to the Toronto Raptors.
The game was a back and forth affair that saw the change of place many times, however, the Raptors ultimately, closed with an impressive run to cap 5 - 0 record in the summer league.
Quincy Pondexter, selection 26 in the 2010 draft, finished with a summer league quietly productivity with a game high 26 points in the night. Also contributed 4 rebounds and was 12 of 15 since the charity stripe. Ed Davis, the Raptors lottery selection, posted 14 points and 6 rebounds in an effort to win, ending most of what I would consider a solid summer league rookie Toronto.
Pondexter has played well this summer and is to compete for a few minutes next season in place two or three for the Hornets.
